This homeowner in Duluth, MN had concerns about ice dams and vermiculite being asbestos. With four kids and plans to reside in the home long-term, ensuring safety and structural integrity was paramount.
Our Appointment Center promptly set up a free, no obligation inspection with Design Specialist Heidi. During the inspection, vermiculite was found uncovered and signs of moisture spreading in the attic, with a back bedroom exhibiting discoloration on the ceiling. To address these issues, a hybrid system with baffles was recommended, coupled with preemptive measures like MoldX© treatment post-removal. Production team, led by Foreman Wade installed the system with baffles and MoldX©, ensuring a comprehensive solution for their home's well-being.
A homeowner from Lutsen, MN reached out to DBS looking for help with their drafty shed. One of our Design Specialists went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment. Our Design Specialist provided the homeowner with a free quote for our Attic Insulation Service after a thorough inspection. One of our crews installed our polyurethane spray foam to first air seal the space, then they installed our blown-in cellulose insulation to thoroughly insulate the space. Now the homeowner can relax with peace of mind knowing that their shed will stay warmer.
This home in Little Marais, MN was suffering from cold temperatures in the wintertime. Insufficient insulation was not providing what the home needed, so the homeowner turned to DBS for help.
Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer assisted this homeowner in a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, it was decided that dense-pack insulation would be the best option.
Foreman Nicholas Woods II led the installation of this project. The team drills hole on the outside of the home and blow the cellulose insulation into the sides of the home. This is an effective insulation strategy that will keep the home warm and livable.
These homeowners can now relax in their healthy, warm homes.
This customer had another contractor come in and blow in a bunch of fiberglass insulation. To properly insulate this home we dug through this insulation to find all the major penetrations found and air seal them. Then new attic air chutes need to be installed and the new cellulose blown in over the top of the fiberglass. Then we insulated the entire rim joist. These photos show the difference of how the attic was previously insulated and how we completed a full insulation installation. The home will now be warm and cozy.
The company occupying this building wanted to insulate their building so that they could have better control over the internal climate of the building and they especially wanted to reduce the condensation that was forming on the ceiling and dripping into an area where they stored important chemicals for their work. In a matter of a few short days our crew effectively used spray foam insulation to properly insulate the metal building from the outside elements and eliminate the issue of moisture condensing on the ceiling.
We've used spray foam in metal buildings for both residential and commercial customers to create a much more comfortable environment for working and storage alike!
