We came in and finished this basement, and when the homeowner wanted to add a bathroom, it was decided that under the stairs was a perfect spot for one! There was already an old toilet there, but the new space looks much more enjoyable!
When we were called to fix a crack in this basement, the homeowner saw what we had to offer. Not only did she fix the foundation issue, but she decided she wanted to finish her basement also! The homeowner loves the fact that the products in her newly finished basement are all inorganic, meaning they won't mold if they get wet! In this picture you can see the bottom of the stairs and the doorway we added to complete the bathroom.
This wall needed fixed as you can see by the large stair stepping crack. We installed earth anchors to stabilize the foundation and then put the finished wall panels over top. To finish off the new look, we installed cover caps on the earth anchors to cover up the large metal plates.
This Superior, WI home was built in the 1950's. Homeowners noticed flooding in the basement around 10 years ago. Fearful that the water issue would only get worse, causing mold and other damage to the basement, the homeowner contacted DBS.
DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support and a waterproofing system. Our DBS production team installed our WaterGuard® french drain system and CleanSpace® along the perimeter of the basement. This system directs all the moisture to a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System.
The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to pooling water in the basement!
A homeowner in Superior, WI reached out to DBS regarding our basement waterproofing service. They were looking to upgrade their waterproofing system to help maintain a safe comfortable environment. After thorough inspection, it was decided that the basement would need to have the Everlast™ Wall Panels installed to prevent future water seepage. Along with that, WaterGuard® was also installed in several areas of the basement, as shown by the newly poured concrete in the photos attached. The results turned out great, and the homeowner can now enjoy a more dry and comfortable basement environment,
