This house was in need of a new drain tile. There was standing water in the basement and the old drain tile was not effectively draining water away from the footing of the home. Our team went to work to install a complete drain tile around the home with very little disturbance to the existing basement as can be seen from these photos. This homeowner also took advantage of our variety of services offered and had us insulate their attic and the rim joists around their basement.
When adding living space to a home it is the safety conscious and often legal decision to create an egress basement window which allows for a quick escape in event of an emergency. In addition to providing insulation, doors, and windows, DBS Residential Solutions also offers basement finishing services. The combination of our energy efficient windows and basement finishing egress window wells helped make this project become a reality that has a pleasant visual appeal to it. This home can now increase its value by creating an additional bedroom or other living space. We always recommend our customers review our basement finishing options when looking to finish a basement. We offer inorganic products that will not mold or rot when they become wet.

We came in and finished this basement, and when the homeowner wanted to add a bathroom, it was decided that under the stairs was a perfect spot for one! There was already an old toilet there, but the new space looks much more enjoyable!
When we were called to fix a crack in this basement, the homeowner saw what we had to offer. Not only did she fix the foundation issue, but she decided she wanted to finish her basement also! The homeowner loves the fact that the products in her newly finished basement are all inorganic, meaning they won't mold if they get wet! In this picture you can see the bottom of the stairs and the doorway we added to complete the bathroom.
This wall needed fixed as you can see by the large stair stepping crack. We installed earth anchors to stabilize the foundation and then put the finished wall panels over top. To finish off the new look, we installed cover caps on the earth anchors to cover up the large metal plates.
