Basement Finishing Before & After Photos

A family in Brooklyn Park, MN was looking to have their basement completely finished, and they reached out to DBS for some assistance. It was proposed to have all new flooring, walls, and ceiling panels installed, and DBS used several different products to get the job done. Our crew installed the EverLast™ Basement Wall Panels comprised of 100% mold-resistant material, as well as ThermalDry® Insulated Floor Planking. A home in Brooklyn Park, MN had a basement that was in need of a new appearance. The owner reached out to DBS, and a Design Specialist went to provide them with a free, no-obligation estimate for the basement finishing service. It was determined that DBS would completely update the unfinished area with new flooring, carpet, wall panels, doors, and drop ceiling tiles. This Plymouth, MN homeowner wanted to capitalize on the square footage in the basement. Their dream was to have another living room, a home gym, and office space. Having worked with DBS in the past to correct a bowing wall and install a waterproofing system, they wanted to finish their basement with the DBS water-resistant system.

DBS Design Specialist Jason Swanson visited the home for a free, no-obligation estimate and came up with a custom plan that would incorporate this homeowner's wishlist.  DBS Carpenter Donny Whiting lead the install on this basement finishing project. The team also installed EverLast™ wall panels - the insulated version lined the outside walls and uninsulated for the inner walls. These wall panels are hung via a metal framing system, making them incredibly durable and stronger than drywall.

They installed our ultra-durable, scratch-resistant MillCreek™ flooring throughout the basement. This mahogany color is UV-resistant and provides a thermal break from the cold basement floor.

This owner was happy with the work done and now has a healthy, safe, and comfortable basement to use for years to come.
