Homeowners in Eagan, MN had their crawl space and basement looked at by a home inspector. They measured levels of radon in the dirt crawl space and also identified the presence of mice. In order to reduce hazards beneath their home and make it healthier, they scheduled a free, no-obligation estimate with one of our Design Specialists. After a thorough inspection, DBS Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer determined that a crawl space encapsulation system, complete with insulation and vapor barrier would be installed. DBS Foreman Nick Woods II lead the crew who completed the crawl space encapsulation. Because dirt crawl spaces are prone to wetness, our team installed waterproof TerraBlock™ foam insulation beneath a CleanSpace® vapor barrier. We then applied spray foam to the crawl spray walls as well as the basement rim joists to stop cold air from entering the home. The homeowners were happy with the rim joist insulation and crawl space encapsulation that DBS completed and complimented our crews and office staff on a job well done!
