Foreman Raeshawn Pelfrey led a team in the installation of this project. The team started the project by removing the old batting insulation. This exposes the hidden holes and cracks that are allowing unwanted airflow in and out of the house. After finding these spots, they used the SprayFoam insulation as a sealant to air seal these spots. Afterward, the insulation is sprayed throughout the area to create an even insulation layer and moisture barrier.
This homeowner can now relax knowing their home is warm and energy bills will be low.
This homeowner reached out to DBS after noticing mold in the attic, a discovery that came as a shock after hearing a faint dripping sound during a recent temperature change. Upon investigating, they found extensive mold growth, suggesting that the issue had been developing unnoticed for quite some time. With no regular visits to the attic, the severity of the problem became apparent only during this impromptu check, leading to immediate concern about potential spread into the rest of the house. To tackle the mold and prevent further issues our Design Specialist, Justin, recommended our Mold-X™ and Attic Insulation services. This service is a comprehensive treatment plan that includes Mold-X™ which elements and prevents mold growth in the future, old fiberglass removal, spray foam insulation, and blown-in TruSoft™ Cellulose insulation for a new and safe attic. Once our production team led by our Foreman, Cody, went out to the property, they went out to the property and redid the whole attic, making the space more healthy and comfortable for years to come!

Design Specialist Austin Burley went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the owners. After evaluation, he suggested the owners have insulation dense-packed into their cathedral-style ceilings to help insulate their roof.
Foreman Nick Woods II led the installation for this project with help from his crew. Together they drilled holes in each bay of the ceiling to dense-pack blown-in Tru-Soft™ cellulose insulation as the space in between the ceiling and roof was inaccessible. Tru-Soft™ cellulose insulation is more efficient than fiber-glass because it retains heat better and is also treated in a borate solution to prevent pests and acts as a fire-retardant. To finish the job the team sealed off each injection site with ZypFoam™ to completely air seal the space.
Now that the home has been properly insulated, the homeowners can relax comfortably as they experience lower energy bills and a warmer household.
