These homeowners from Brule, Wisconsin reached out to DBS for help stabilizing their cracked foundation walls. The lower level of their home was partially underground with the top third above the ground. DBS Design Specialist Nathan Schroeder went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the home, Nathan recommended installing 6 GeoLock™ earth anchors to permanently stabilize the failing walls. The GeoLock™ support system works by connecting two plates together using galvanized steel rods and plates. One plate is installed outside the home in stable soil and the other is placed on the wall inside the home. Over time these connected plates are tightened to correct bowing walls. DBS Foreman Nick Burley and his production crew installed the GeoLock™ system, as well as several CarbonArmor Wall Defense straps to prevent foundation wall bowing. From there, Foreman Trevor Ingle and his crew installed 3 HelixPro® piers to support the home's new front deck. This home is now healthy, safe, and comfortable!
