A DBS Design Specialist visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support and waterproofing systems. A DBS foreman and crew installed a new french drain system and CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier along the perimeter of the basement. This system directs all the moisture to a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System.
To permanently stabilize the basement walls, the production crew installed 8 PowerBrace™ steel I-beams. This PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System, is meant to support walls from further movement and can be tightented over time, in order to restore the wall to its original position.
The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to the leaking water and foundation cracks.
