Crawlspaces with concrete walls and raw floors are susceptible to water damage, as concrete can begin to crack and shift, allowing outside material to gain access to the interior portion of the space. In this case, the homeowner reached out to DBS, and had a crew come and install several waterproofing products to aid in the extraction of unwanted water. A DBS Design Specialist visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the failing foundation. It was determined that significant foundation support was needed, and Antonio O'Neil and his crew installed 24 PowerBraces™ along the perimeter of the basement. The PowerBrace™ I-beams are connected to top lever brackets, as well as footings on the floor. These supports are tightened over time in an attempt to restore the walls to their original position.
