Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Moldy and Damp Duluth, MN Basement Gets a Waterproofing System
This is a great classic example of a basement that was leaking from the foundation walls. The Duluth homeowner noticed the problem worsening, promoting mold growth in several areas. Worried about the problem worsening, they contacted DBS for a permanent solution.
DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing system. DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production team installed 83ft of ourWaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement as well as CleanSpace® wall poly.
The system directs all moisture to a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System. The crew connected this system to a new discharge line, directing water further away from the home's foundation. The home also had a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier installed to take care of any humidity in the basement. Finally, an EverLast™ Window Insert was also installed to keep the basement's natural light source, but make the window more efficient.
The homeowners now have a dry basement they can depend on!
