When the homeowner contacted us, they were dealing with a consistently damp basement that had become more of a hassle than just Ellen's sewing studio in Cornell, WI. Fed up with bailing out water and fighting against moisture and odors, they realized it was time for a change. The before photo clearly shows the issues—a space no one would want to use. After our intervention, as shown in the after photo, we've transformed the area using our effective WaterGuard® drainage system, DryTrak®, TripleSafe™ Sump Pump for exceptional water removal, IceGuard® to prevent winter clogs, and the SaniDry™ Sedona to maintain a dry, fresh atmosphere. Now, they enjoy a dry, comfortable, and functional space—reflecting our commitment to providing lasting solutions and outstanding customer experiences.
This customer was having problems with support for their main level. The jack stands that were being used were not proving effective in supporting the home from the basement. With several new Smart Jack XLs installed in the home this customer is now getting the support their home needs and can much more easily make height adjustments.
The solution in this situation was simple, but much needed. The customer had noticed the crack forming in their wall and understood they would need to do something before the problem had worsened. In this part of the home the customer only needed two PowerBraces to stabilize the wall. This simple solution provides the customer with a permanent solution that didn't cause a mess or additional clutter in the room.
This Chippewa Falls, WI resident’s concrete walkway and patio had begun to slope in towards the house, there were large gaps between the slabs and the side of the home. The customer was most concerned about water flowing directly towards the home and creating a possible leak in its’ foundation.
Our main goal was to stabilize the concrete slab and divert any water away from the foundation joints. The DBS production crew of Chris and Ken started by prepping the area for our patented PolyLevel® system. They then injected the PolyLevel® product under the problem areas and were able to achieve a successful lift in the concrete slab. The project was wrapped up by ensuring the customer was satisfied with our work and leaving the project areas cleaner than we found it.
