In this Eau Claire, WI basement DBS installed French doors among many other basement finishing parts. The new doors allowed for the homeowner to easily access their backyard. This customer had some major water damage in their basement. The family was upset because they spend a lot of time in their basement together. The homeowner reached out to DBS and set an appointment for a specialist to inspect their home. After inspection, it was proposed to have a WaterGuard system installed along with a new, TrippleSafe sump pump. Our crew, with Foreman, Zach Royer, installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. 

This customer was excited to find out more about our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution for concrete slabs. They had tried mudjacking in the past and hadn't had much luck with the slab staying level.

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went to the home and analyzed the damage. Over time the soil surrounding the home became compressed and was adding pressure to the basement walls. Foreman Casey Healey and his production crew installed our CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System to the failing walls. CarbonArmor® is made out of carbon fiber and is 10 times stronger than steel. CarbonArmor® is flexible and contours to the foundation wall with high adhesion and paintable low profile design.

This basement is now permanently stabilized and safe!

Foreman Tyler Nacey led the installation of this project with help from a team. Together, the team installed the French drainage system in the home. This system collects water from the walls and floors before it has the chance to enter the living space. It is then carried through the drains to a sump pump and discharged from the home. The WaterGuard® system is an efficient way to keep your home dry and mold-free.
