Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo, went out to the site of the problem to conduct a free no-obligation inspection. After thoroughly examining the issue at hand, Henrik determined that this property was an ideal candidate for DBS's PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System. A concern that was raised in this project was how close the neighboring homes are, which is why the PowerBrace™ system was a great solution for this property because it does not require any exterior excavation in order to be installed.

Foreman Osia Williams led the installation of this project with his team, and together they successfully installed 6 PowerBrace™ beams to correct bowing and cracking that had occurred over time. Our patented PowerBrace™ solution's unique design allows for it to be tightened over time during dry periods in an attempt to straighten the wall.

These steel jacks evenly distribute the weight of the structure making a very stable area. The jacks can be adjusted to lift the floor above and create an even level once again.

Each i-beam is placed along the wall and secured to the rim joists of the home with a steel bracket. The brackets can be tightened during dry periods in an attempt to straighten the wall back to its original position over time.
