A homeowner in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS in regards to our foundation wall support service. Their basement block wall was in dire need for some extra stabilization, and the homeowner had a Design Specialist come and take a look at it. After a thorough inspection, it was determined that the wall would have the GeoLock® Wall Anchor System installed for added support. These anchors are an optimal product for basement wall stabilization, and can even work to pull back bowing walls to their original straightened position.

Foreman Casey Healey and his production crew installed our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System to immediately stabilize the bowing walls. Over time the PowerBrace® System is tightened by our service team to restore the wall to level.

This basement is now permanently stabilized and safe for the family to enjoy.

Homeowners in Duluth, MN had consistent flooding in their basement. As seen in the before photo, sediment was being carried in by the water, leaving a dirty mess in the basement. They knew it was most likely due to cracking in their foundation. In search of a permanent solution, they reached out to DBS. 

Sale Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specialist for this project and visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support and the waterproofing system.

To permanently stabilize the basement walls, the production crew installed 13 PowerBrace™ steel I-beams. This PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System, is meant to support walls from further movement and can be tightened over time, in order to restore the wall to its original position. A SuperSump® Premier Pump System was installed and will work hard to keep water up and out of the basement.

The egress window was also replaced and surrounded by a SentrySeal® rubber membrane to protect the egress area from water. 

This customer had a frost problem in the front of their garage so we removed concrete and replaced it with 4'' of foam and a nice new concrete apron! This solution solved the buckling problem once and for all! Also we installed a new retaining wall and insulated garage door.

This basement was leaking and had cracks. They put up poly for when water leaks in, it goes into the drain tile and into the sump pump instead of the basement. The PowerBraces are there to support the foundation. What a difference!
