DBS Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the property, Henrik recommended using Supportworks helical piers to lift and permanently stabilize the cracked foundation. 18 helical piers were recommended to keep this home healthy and stable. They work together using hydraulic pressure to lift and keep structures from sinking. 

DBS Foreman Trevor Ingle worked hard with his production crew to install 18 helical piers around the perimeter of this home. This home has now been made permanently stable and is covered under a nationally-backed warranty for 25 years!

Now that the boathouse has been permanently stabilized, the owners will be able to continue creating new memories while being able to hold on to the old ones.

These support systems are made up of a steel rod that is connected outside in the ground to an Earth Anchor and inside to steel plates attached to the unstable wall. This system offers a permanent solution and can be adjusted in order to restore the wall as close to its original position as possible.
