However, they encountered a problem; their floors were uneven, which could derail their renovation plans. To address this issue, they contacted us, hoping we could level the foundation and bring their vision to life. Our System Design Specialist visited the home and thoroughly examined the foundation, identifying the need for stabilization to support the homeowner's upgrade plans. We recommended installing four SmartJacks with adjustable tops and lifting up the main beam to ensure the floors could confidently support the planned upgrades. Upon completion, the homeowner's floors were perfectly leveled, bringing them one step closer to their dream of a center island kitchen.
A homeowner in Moose Lake, MN reached out to DBS regarding our foundation wall repair service, as well as the basement waterproofing service. They needed an efficient upgrade to the overall basement area, and there were several products needing to be installed. For the waterproofing portion, WaterGuard® was ran along the perimeter of the concrete floor. As for wall support, the crew installed CarbonArmor® to add stabilization along the foundation. Foreman Greg Owens led the crew in the installation of this project. The SmartJack® System is made up of a large steel tube that is connected to steel brackets. This system is extremely sturdy and evenly distributes the weight of the structure. This system can also be adjusted in order to level out the supported area to its original position.

Foreman Trevor Ingle, along with a team, led this installation. Together, they installed 8 push piers systems. These piers are made out of steel that is strong enough to lift the foundation. Using hydraulic pressure, these push piers are set deep into the native soil of the land and can raise the settled foundation back to its original position. They are a lasting, permanent solution for foundation settlement.
