This system is covered with dirt after installed and is completely hidden from sight.

After inspecting the home, James recommended a combination of GeoLock™ earth anchors, CarbonArmor®, and NexusPro sealant. This combination of Supportworks® solutions will immediately stabilize the walls and prevent any future cracking or bowing.

This cabin is located on the edge of Duluth, MN and was built in 1947. The owners had concerns about the structural integrity of both the main cabin and smaller guest cabin and sauna near the lakeshore. Looking for a permanent solution, they contacted DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate.

DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home, providing a thorough estimate. It was determined that a piering solution was needed to permanently stabilize both of these structures.

DBS Co-Foreman Justin Lundgren and Installer Trevor Ingle performed the work, driving 8 HelixPro® piers into both buildings in total. They also installed added 4 SmartJack® beams in the cabin to lift and support the main floor.

A homeowner contacted DBS when they became concerned about their home's foundation and sloping floors. Our Design Specialist visited the property and recommended the installation of eight PowerBraces™ to lift and stabilize the foundation. Our production crew carried out the installation of all eight PowerBraces™, and the customer was happy with the project. They felt more secure about their home's future.

This barn in Duluth, MN was experiencing issues with sagging floors. Floorboards towards the center of the barn were sagging due to a weak middle support beam and the owners were concerned about the safety of their chickens. Hoping to make the barn safe again, the owners reached out to DBS.

Design Specialist James Miller went to the barn to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the owners. After a thorough inspection, he told the owners that DBS had the perfect solution to their sagging floors. James educated the owners on our SmartJack® System.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed 5 SmartJack® supports and replaced the old main beam with a steel beam. The SmartJack® supports are installed by excavating a 2' cubic foot of dirt for each footing and filling it with engineered fill rock. The fill rock will prevent further sinking after installation. The supports are placed on top of the new rock and are attached to the steel beam to provide adequate support to the structure.

The owners can relax knowing that their chickens can live comfortably and safely in their barn.
