After a thorough inspection, Henry determined that their crawlspace was retaining a lot of heat that should have been blown into the living spaces of the home. He recommended that the owners consider spray foam insulation to solve their problem.

Foreman Nick Woods II led the installation of this project with a team. Together they cleared the old insulation from the concrete block foundation and layered the vertical walls with waterproof polyurethane spray foam. The spray foam will provide insulation for the crawl space as it expands as it is installed completely air-sealing the space.

Henry recommended that the homeowners eventually have insulation dense-packed into their roofing to keep even more heat inside of the cabin, but with the crawlspace insulation, they will notice how much warmer it is already. Now the owners will be more comfortable in their cabin for longer periods during the year.
