Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This is a small portion of an energy efficiency home improvement project where we replaced basement windows with energy efficient Everlast windows & sunhouse covers, a Bilco door, structural improvements, and spray foam along the rim joists. Our customers are often aware of the importance of having energy efficient doors and windows, but may often overlook the benefits of insulating the rim joist of their home. With spray foam insulation we provide a well-needed coating of insulation that has the added benefit of air sealing this section of the home. 

When health became a top priority for a family in Hayward, their damp crawl space raised concerns after experiencing respiratory issues post-COVID. As shown in the 'before' photo, the musty, moisture-laden crawl space was unsuitable for storage and detrimental to air quality. Our team stepped in to address the issue by installing a CleanSpace® liner to seal out moisture, along with a SaniDry™ Sedona unit to purify the air. The transformation turned a health hazard into a fresh, usable space, as seen in the 'after' photo.

These homeowners in Hayward, MN needed major assistance with their crawl space issues. After purchasing a new home, they discovered standing water in the crawl space and rotting support beams. Foreman Chris Church led the installation of the encapsulation project. Chris and his team fully encapsulated the crawl space, starting with drainage matting. This helps the soil and dirt under the home to safely and effectively help drain the water in the space. Next, they used SprayFoam insulation to air seal the space and create a moisture barrier. They then used CleanSpace® to line the entirety of the crawl space for a clean, water resistant barrier, which also allows the space to be used for safe, dry storage. 

These homeowners can now enjoy their new home know their crawl space is safe and dry.

They are adjusted in order to raise the floors back to their original placement and diminish the bouncing floors.
