Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. DBS Foreman Orrin Sundberg and his prodution crew place a drainage layer and vapor barrier in the crawl space. This will prevent moisture as well as pests from entering the home via the crawl space.
Keeping your crawl space dry can also significantly reduce long-term damage to the wooden building material supporting the structure. From there, they applied closed-cell spray foam insulation to the rim joists where the crawl space was releasing cold air into the main level of the home.

Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer went out to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate appointment for the homeowner. After taking several measurements and photos, Henry created a quote for our Crawl Space Encapsulation service.
A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed drainage matting along the ground to help the flow of water, then they installed TerraBlock® foam frost barrier panels and a layer of CleanSpace® water vapor barrier to complete the 3-layer process. The crew also sprayed polyurethane insulation along the vertical walls in the crawl space to air-seal the space.
Now that the crawl space has been thoroughly insulated, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.
