The owner of this home in Washburn, WI reached out to DBS looking for a solution to their cold, unsupported crawl space.
Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went out to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, Henrik recommended our polyurethane spray foam and SmartJack® System.
A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they first sprayed the vertical walls of the crawl space with our waterproof polyurethane spray foam insulation. Then they installed the SmartJack® with a new main steel beam in order to permanently stabilize the home.
Now that the crawl space has been insulated and permanently stabilized, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.
This homeowner reached out to DBS after raising concerns about the stability of their walls. They were worried about the structure of their home and wanted to ensure peace of mind and prevent the walls from caving in and causing further damage to the house.
In addressing the issue our Design Specialist, Jake Gilmer, recommended our EverBrace™ System for foundation stability along the basement wall. Additionally, he explored the option of removing parts of the wood skirting to facilitate the placement of the braces. Once our Foreman, Nathan Simonson, and his crew were able to get to the property, they successfully installed the EverBrace™ system on two walls in the crawlspace. The homeowner was satisfied with the results and felt more secure with their home!
This basement in Saint Paul, MN was experiencing stage 1-2 wall failure. A small bow had begun in the wall, but since the owner acted quickly and contacted DBS, they prevented any further severe damage.
Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and conducted a free, no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a careful inspection, Rich provided a quote for our CarbonArmor® Wall Defense Straps.
A DBS Foreman led the installation of the project with help from a team. Together, the team applied these strong straps to the bowing wall. These straps are made out of woven material that is ten times stronger than steel. The straps hold the wall in place and prevent any further inward movement and bowing.
