After meeting DBS at the Ashland home show, they reached out to us is hopes of a permanent solution.
DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specilist for this project and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support system. It was determined that our GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System would be installed.
DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew installed our GeoLock™ Wall Plates and Earth Anchors to the failing foundation wall. This system uses the heavy-duty anchors in and connects them to plates on the wall interior wall. Connected with long, galvanized rods, these anchors are tightened to straighten the wall over time and provide maximum support.
These homeowners were happy with the work done and now have a safe and dry basement to enjoy!

DBS Production Manager Kevin Steffey was the foreman on the job. He and his crew installed a new french drain system along the perimeter of the basement. This system directs all the moisture to a new TripleSafe™ sump pump. A SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier was also connected to the sump pump to pull out excess moisture from the basement.
The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to pooling water in the basement!
Homeowners in Remer, MN had sinking and settling issues with their home's foundation. Both the foundation and basement concrete slab were sinking and worsening over time. Looking for a permanent solution to this issue, they did some internet research and contacted DBS.
Henrik Makitalo, a seasoned Design Specialist for DBS visited the home to provide a free, no-obligaiton estimate for the work. After a thorough inspection, Henrik determined that our Push Pier System, combined with Concrete Lifting would be the best solution.
For the piering portion of the job, DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew first excavated soil around the piering site. The piers are then anchored to the foundation and piers are hydraulically driven into the ground until they reach competent soil. We installed 4 push piers total and completed a lift procedure to restore the garage to its original location.
DBS Foreman Jason Foster then completed an install of PolyLevel®; the lifting the spots where the garage slab itself needed support.
The homeowner was happy with the work done and now has a fully supported garage to count on!
Owners of this cabin started to notice some dramatic shifting in the home's foundation. Living in northern Minnesota, they noticed there foundation shifting from swelling in the winter and thawing in the springtime. A DBS foreman and production crew replaced existing support beams and then used 12 Push Piers to lift and support the cabin structure. These piers are driven through the soil, down to the strata layer of rock, providing solid support to the home.

Because the walls were bowing significantly, our crews needed to excavate soil on the outside of the home to restore the walls to their original position. The crew applied SentrySeal® and TerraBlock™ to give extra insulation and provide a waterproofing layer on the exterior wall.
The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to the leaking water and foundation cracks!
