Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A church in Duluth, MN had a dirt crawl space that was prone to wetness. Concerned about how this was affecting the humidity and temperature was affecting the rest of the building, they reached out to us about our Dr. Energy Saver services. 

A Design Specialist trained in energy-saving solutions, visited the space to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. It was recommended that a CleanSpace® vapor barrier be laid over drainage matting. DBS Foreman Zach Royer and his crew first excavated the soil around the home's exterior to prep for a wall straightening procedure. From there, they installed 10 PowerBrace I-beams, connecting them to the basement's concrete floor and ceiling joists. Initial tightening by our crew was done to immediately straighten the wall's position.

After the wall staightening procedure, they added a waterproof membrane to the exterior foundation. This will prevent water from seeping into the foundation wall blocks.
