This home in Inver Grove Heights, MN had fallen victim to cracks and uneven concrete. These cracks had become serious tripping hazards and a major inconvenience. The homeowners trusted DBS to provide a permanent and professional solution.
Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer visited the home in order to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate. After the inspection, Henry provided a quote for our PolyLevel® foam and NexusPro® sealant.
Foreman Evan LaFontaine led the installation of this project. Small holes are drilled into the concrete and the PolyLevel® foam is injected underneath. This foam lifts and levels the slab. Then, the sealant is used to protect the joints from weather conditions and water intrusion.

This homeowner contacted DBS after experiencing difficulty due to recent back surgery and finding the step down to the sidewalk challenging. The homeowner expected the sidewalk to be brought back up to its original height, the front stairs elevated, the back patio void filled, control joints in the patio sealed, and cracks in both the sidewalk and patio repaired. Additionally, they wanted the surface of the sidewalk to be sealed.

This hardware store in Bayfield, WI was having problems with sunken concrete. It was creating tripping hazards and making it a hassle to load and unload merchandise as they wheeled it into their storage area (the uneven concrete created obstacles for wheeled dolly carts). Slanted concrete can also lead to problems with nearby structures when it drains water into or toward the structure. The owners of this property saw the value in having level concrete, so they had us several slabs that led to the building and to their storage area. The concrete in these pictures was dramatically lifted and the now level result aids in draining water away from the building, preventing possible future damages to the building.
This Washburn, WI customer called DBS looking for a solution to their sinking slab between their house and garage. Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo visited this customer's home and proposed the use of our PolyLevel injection system. The customer was happy to know there was a simple fix to this worrisome problem. Foreman, Robby Kramer and his crew were able to successfully lift and level the concrete slab between the garage and home.
