Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

These Duluth homeowners connected with DBS at the Duluth Home Show. They had been having water issues in their basement and wanted a lasting solution to the problem. Design Specialist Rich Johnsen provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. Foreman Zach Jorenby and his production team installed our WaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement and replaced the existing broken sump pump with our TripleSafe™ Sump Pump to keep water out of the basement for good. This home now has a clean, safe and dry basement to enjoy. 

This Duluth, MN had been standing for 100 years when homeowners bought it in 2012. They started noticing water coming in through cracks in the north wall of the basement, leading to damage to the walls and floor. Looking for a permanent solution, they reached out to DBS after learning about us on local radio. 

DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home and conducted a free, no-obligation estimate for the work in the basement. It was determined that a WaterGuard® drainage system would be dug around the perimeter of the basement, accompanied by the CleanSpace® vapor barrier on the wall. 

DBS Field Supervisor Kevin Steffey was the foreman on the job, leading the production crew's installation of the mentioned products. The waterproofing system was completed with two sump pumps, SuperSump® Premier Pump System and an UltraSump®. Those pumps were connected to discharge lines, connected to IceGuard® drains to prevent wintertime freezing.

DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specialist for the project and visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. A DBS foreman and crew installed a WaterGuard® subfloor drainage system that would lead any water into a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System. This SuperSump® pump has a Zoeller cast-iron pump that is powerful and can pump up to 2,280 gallons per hour.

A DBS foreman and crew installed 29 linear feet of WaterGuard® and a new electrical outlet to power the sump pump. This home is now healthy, safe, and comfortable!

This French drainage system collects water before it enters your basement. The pipes lead to the sump pump that effectively discharges the water from the system, leaving the basement dry and mold-free.
