DBS Before & After Photos

This home in Rice Lake, WI had bowing foundational walls due to soil expansion. The owner wanted to address this problem with a professional solution, so they trusted DBS to help.

Design Specialist Nicholas Corbin assisted the owner with a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, Nicholas recommended our GeoLock™ Wall Anchoring System.

Foreman Osia Williams led the installation of this project with help from Co-Foreman Rowan Wentworth. Earth anchors are installed outside of the home, below the ground, and the steel plates are installed inside the home on the bowing wall. These systems are connected using a steel rod which stops any further movement and can also be adjusted in order to restore the wall back to its original position.

These residents of Mellen, WI reached out to DBS for some help with their 1970's home. The foundation walls were cracking and bowing leading to moisture issues in the basement.

DBS Sales Manager visited the home, assessed the problem, and created a solution for the unwanted water and failing walls. To permanently stabilize the walls, our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System was installed along the perimeter of the basement, using steel I-beams. The DBS foreman and crew successfully installed the products.

When our team was called to a home in Mellen, WI, the issue was clear: a lifted garage slab throwing off balance and safety. The owner called the experts at DBS to come out and find a solution to the bowing foundation wall. System Design Specialist, Rich Johnson, made a visit out to the cabin and found a quality solution to the problem foundation wall. The use of PowerBraces would secure the wall and prevent any further damage to the wall and cabin. Foreman, Casey Healy, and his crew were able to install the PowerBraces and secure the wall. This homeowner was very pleased with the results and was able to sell the cabin to his friend confident that the foundation wall was permanently fixed.
