We bought this home about a year ago and over the winter we noticed a large crack will form in the corner of the wall and go back to normal in the spring. The attached deck is also clearly heaving and has a permanent bow in the center. The house is on a pier and beam foundation with metal I-beams. I could use some advice on fixing this frost heave issue as I'm not sure the best route (e.g. do some footings need to be redug, should we consider a basement install, is it possibly just the attached deck and overhang that are pulling at the house, etc). Please let me know if this is something you can assist with.
