This homeowner in Bemidji, MN wanted to address the water intrusion issue in the basement of the home.

A DBS Design Specialist went out to the home to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate for the owner. After a careful inspection, the Design Specialist recommended our WaterGuard® French Drain System and provided a quote.

To complete the installation of this solution trenches are created around the perimeter of the basement and our WaterGuard® drain lines are placed within. These drain lines are able to collect water intrusion from the floor joists and walls of the home. The water is then transported to the sump pump and removed from the home. Finally, the drain lines are covered with concrete for a flush look.

DBS received a customer looking to repair sinking, cracked concrete and divert water away from the areas that it was accumulating in the home. This home was having trouble with the concrete in the patio and sidewalk areas. The solution that DBS gave the customers was to use our PolyLevel® service on the cracked concrete as a sealant. By using this service, it would expand into the areas as needed, while leveling out the surface that had been sinking. Then we would add our NexusPro™ sealant to put over the area that would be used as a waterproofing joint sealant on outdoor, exterior surfaces to divert water away from the home’s foundation and problem area.
