The customer initially contacted DBS with concerns about the efficiency of their house, particularly experiencing issues with ice damming. With plans to reside in the house for over a decade, they were motivated to address the problems sooner rather than later. The challenges included persistent ice dams causing damage and significantly high energy bills. The customer sought a permanent solution to enhance the well-being of their home and ensure long-term benefits.
Solution
Upon inspection by our Design Specialist, Henry Jungbauer, mold spores were discovered in the East end of the attic. Before addressing the insulation issues, there had to be a vermiculite testing. Once the necessary precautions were taken, our production crew installed our Dr. Energy Saver® insulation products. This comprehensive solution not only resolved the attic insulation issues but also provided the customers with a healthy, safe, and comfortable home environment.
