Bowing and cracking basement wall
Before the installation of the GeoLock™ Wall Anchors, the basement wall was bowing and cracking.
Earth Anchor Placement
The GeoLock™ Wall Anchor system is anchored by earth anchors placed in the ground outside of the home.
Wall Anchor System
The wall anchor of the GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System is then attached to the earth anchor by a steel rod. The rod is drilled through the wall and tightened between the two anchors, stabilizing the wall.
Wall Anchors Stabilizing Bowing Wall
After the wall anchors are in place the bowing wall is permanently stabilized.
Wall Anchors Stabilizing Bowing Wall
The GeoLock™ Wall Anchors are in place leaving a stabilized wall. With annual maintenance, the GeoLocks™ can be tightened and further straighten the bowing wall.
Backfill Where the Earth Anchors Were Placed
After the GeoLock™ Wall Anchors are tightened, the hole where the earth anchors were placed is filled in and compacted.
Clean Up After Backfill
After the earth anchor hole is backfilled, the crew raked and lose dirt around the area, leaving the yard as clean as possible after the project.
Basement Waterproofing
This home also had our basement waterproofing system installed to keep the basement clean and dry.
