He determined that the crawl space would have supplemental support beams installed to stabilize the floor. Helical piers would then be installed at the foundation footing to lift and support the home. DBS Foreman Trevor Ingle and his crew added 17 feet of supplemental support beneath the cabin. From there, they installed 12 helical piers and 2 SmartJack® support beams. To finish the job, they added our SilverGlo™ insulation topped with gravel as frost protection, preventing heaving to the foundation footings as the ground freezes during winter months.The homeowners were relieved to have a foundation repair system that will permanently protect their home.
