DBS Foreman Joe Harris and his crew installed both systems beginning with the basement waterproofing system. In order to protect the entire basement, our basement repair team installed 105 feet of interior drain tile with a CleanSpace® vapor barrier on the walls. DBS uses the WaterGuard® drainage system, designed to capture water seepage through walls and leaks along the wall and floor joint. Water enters the system via inlet holes and flows through the drainage pipe to the basement sump pump. After the successful install of the basement system, our team installed 7 PowerBrace™ steel I-beams. This system permanently stabilizes basement walls and its unique tightening system can restore the original wall to its original position over time.The homeowner was ecstatic with the work done and looks forward to using a water-free basement going forward.
