After thoroughly inspecting the leaky basement, he discovered some bowing and cracks in the foundation walls that were contributing to the leaking.DBS Foreman Nick Burley and his crew installed a PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System made up of 4 steel beams. Attached to the ceiling joists and concrete footing, these beams will be tightened over time to restore the wall to its original position.From there, the DBS waterproofing crew lead by Taylor Allen installed our basement waterproofing products. First, they dug a trench along the perimeter of two basement walls and carried out the concrete. From there, they installed our WaterGuard® drainage system and surrounded it with gravel to encourage proper drainage. Once the drain system install was complete, they connected it to a brand new TripleSafe™ sump pump.The homeowners now have a solid solution to keep water out of the basement, and they can continue with their basement finishing plans.
