Foundation Repair Photo Album: Sandstone Cabin Owners Address Sinking Floors with Crawl Space Support

Longtime owners of this family cabin in Sandstone, WI were concerned over noticeable sinking and settling. Sagging support beams were causing the floor of the home's main level to sink.   DBS Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the support work in the crawl space. It was determined that the crawl space would have SmartJack® support beams installed to lift and support the sagging crawl space ceiling. DBS Foreman Zach Jorenby and his production crew installed 24 feet of supplemental support beam, as well as 4 Smart Jack® support beams to restore the crawl space and provide proper support to the rest of the home. After the support work, our crawl space encapsulation crew also installed a vapor barrier to protect the cabin's infrastructure from any future water and rot damage. This family can now rest easy knowing their favorite retreat is protected for years to come.
