Foundation Repair Photo Album: Sinking Foundation in Remer, MN Lifted with Push Pier System

Homeowners in Remer, MN had sinking and settling issues with their home's foundation. Both the foundation and basement concrete slab were sinking and worsening over time. Looking for a permanent solution to this issue, they did some internet research and contacted DBS.  Henrik Makitalo, a seasoned Design Specialist for DBS visited the home to provide a free, no-obligaiton estimate for the work. After a thorough inspection, Henrik determined that our Push Pier System, combined with Concrete Lifting would be the best solution. For the piering portion of the job, DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew first excavated soil around the piering site. The piers are then anchored to the foundation and piers are hydraulically driven into the ground until they reach competent soil. We installed 4 push piers total and completed a lift procedure to restore the garage to its original location. DBS Foreman Jason Foster then completed an install of PolyLevel®; the lifting the spots where the garage slab itself needed support.  The homeowner was happy with the work done and now has a fully supported garage to count on!
