Homeowners in Ashland, WI noticed that cracks in their foundation were worsening. Quite of bit of water was reaching the basement, causing mildew and undesirable conditions after rains and spring thawing. After meeting DBS at the Ashland home show, they reached out to us is hopes of a permanent solution. DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specialist for this project and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for both foundation support and a waterproofing system. DBS Production Manager Kevin Steffey was the foreman on the job. He and his crew first installed the GeoLock™ Wall Plates and Earth Anchors to protect the failing foundation wall. A new french drain system was installed along the perimeter of the basement, accompanied by CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier. This system directs all the moisture to a new TripleSafe™ sump pump. A SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier was also connected to the sump pump to pull out excess moisture from the basement. The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to foundation issues and water leaking into the basement!

The new drain system is directed to a TripleSafe™ sump pump. A SaniDry™ dehumidifier will pull moisture out of the air, and feed it to the sump pump as well.
