Foundation Repair Photo Album: PowerBraces™ Installed to Provide Long-Lasting Foundation Support in International Falls, MN

Homeowners of this 1984 International Falls home contacted DBS to provide a solution for their bowing foundation walls. Having recently purchased this home, they wanted to ensure a long-lasting, sustainable solution for their family's new home.  DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo determined that 9 PowerBrace™ I-beams would be installed to lift the sinking ceiling and support the foundation walls. DBS Foreman and crew completed the work, anchoring the beams to the basement concrete, as well as to the rim joists in the ceiling. These beams will be tightened overtime to restore the wall's original position, as shown in detail in the album photos.  The homeowners were happy with the work done and can now count on a safe and supported basement.
