A Closer Look at the Basement
Here we see a smaller section of the basement. The PowerBraces are installed along the outside of the CleanSpace membrane so that they may be adjusted over time if necessary. The CleanSpace wall poly membrane helps direct water that comes in through the wall down into the newly installed drain tile. From there, the water is directed into a sump pump where it is carried out of the home and away from the basement.
Don't Forget the Sump Pump
One crucial component to any waterproofing system is the sump pump. If the water around the home is directed into a sump pump that is unreliable or does not have a battery back up then the home is still at risk for flooding. We always recommend using a sump pump that has a back up pump as well as an additional back up pump that is battery powered.
