This customer had a hunting shack that was standing on concrete pillars. The building was slowly moving as the pillars shifted and settled into the ground. The owner had come across our permanent foundation systems and knew it would be the right option if he wanted to matain the structural integrity of the building.

The shifting taking place in this home is made obvious by the slant in the front porch of the building.

A Deck In Trouble

I certainly wouldn't trust this deck to stand on let alone allowing family and friends to gather on it. Fortunately, we have a solution for permanently stabilizing decks as well!

A Dangerous Situation

This part of the home is just inches away from being completely unsupported. This is causing problems within the shack already, but if it were to slip further the damage could become much more expensive. It is important to have foundation issues inspected as soon as they look out of the ordinary.

Secured But Moving

The support for this home is secured to the concrete posts, but unfortunately any movement in the concrete posts means the home is moving as well.

Installing A Permanent Solution

To permanently stabilize the foundation of this home we drill our helical piers deep into the earth to provide a strong anchor point for support.

Customizing the Solution

The ends of the piers above ground are cut to fit underneath the home to provide the much-needed level support.

The Top Plate

After the piers have been properly placed and leveled we add the top bracket to the pier so it may permanently hold the support for the home.

Steal Beams

In this situation, it was necessary to use a steel beam between the helical piers. The piers support the beam which creates level support for the entire home.

Steel Beams Run Under The Home

The steel beam we install runs from the top of one helical pier to the top of another helical pier on the other side of the home. This way we provide strong support which remains equal across the entirety of the home.
