The Entry to the Home
Here we get a full view of the scope of the project. It is important to know the approximate size and weight of the building section so that we may match it with the corresponding product.
A Few Wooden Posts
The wooden posts supporting this section of the building are tilting slightly, which means the ground below the building may have shifted and this addition is no longer getting the proper support and could worsen over time.
Temporary Support
When we plan on replacing old supports we need to temporarily hold the building in place while we prepare the new supports. You can see here we used a small jack to hold the building up while we prepare to install the piers.
Piers Installed
The helical piers have been installed and adjusted to the proper height needed to support the home. A steel beam is placed across the top of these two new piers to provide support across the whole structure.
A Snug Fit
Before we are done, we weld the steel beam to the steel piers to protect against potential shifting that could be experienced by an unsecured system.
