Preparation for Digging
Clay can be especially messy to clean up afterward, so we prepare a tarp to cover the area surrounding the dig up area.
Removing the Sod
We carefully remove a circular section of sod from the area we will be digging. This will be put back into place after the hole has been filled.
Beginning to Dig
In this situation, the clay is carefully extracted from the earth. We make sure to keep the clay on the tarp as much as possible to make clean up as efficient as possible.
Hole Prepped and Ready for Product Installation
The area is now excavated and ready for our GeoLock Earth Anchors to be installed. The hole is appropriately sized to allow our team the room they need to install the product safely.
GeoLock Earth Anchor Installed
With the hole dug in the appropriate place, we're able to install the GeoLock Earth Anchors which extend to the inside of the basement.
Fill the Hole and Clean the Area
Once the product has been installed we backfill the hole and replace the sod that had originally been removed. This process does take a few extra precautions, but the end result is much more clean and creates little disruption to the area.
