A customer contacted DBS due to recurrent water seepage into their basement during spring thaw, despite the absence of visible cracks. The challenge was to address this issue effectively and prevent water ingress without resorting to conventional crack repair methods.
Solution
Upon inspection by our Design Specialist, it was recommended to install WaterGuard® along the basement walls to manage water flow. WaterGuard® efficiently captures wall and floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, channeling it through the drainage pipe to the sump pump. This solution effectively mitigates water intrusion, providing a reliable and long-term resolution to the customer's basement flooding issue.
