Challenge
This homeowner in Hibbing, MN faced a significant challenge when a potential home sale was derailed due to a concerning wall issue. The previous buyer withdrew because of the urgent need for a solution to prevent any future hindrance in selling the property. The homeowners' primary concern was the necessity for a permanent fix to address the structural integrity of the compromised wall.
In addition to the urgency, the project presented certain logistical challenges which was faced with the decision to cut sections of the finished wall to install PowerBraces™.
Solution
To address the homeowner's challenge effectively, our Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo, formulated a comprehensive solution that involved strategically installing five PowerBraces™, with a particular focus on the finished room where the issue was most prominent.
Our foreman, Osia Williams and his crew, came out to the property and started work on the wall. They started by cutting sections of the wall and installed the 5 braces.
The PowerBrace™ installation not only addressed the immediate structural concerns but also provided a permanent solution that met the homeowner's expectations. The successful completion of the project allowed the homeowners to proceed confidently with the home sale, free from concerns about the integrity of the property.
