Wall Support and Waterproofing in Minneapolis, MN
Challenge
These homeowners in Minneapolis, MN had plans to sell their home, but first wanted to address some issues around the house. They needed to waterproof a certain area to stop water intrusion and mold, as well as install support beams to stabilize the wall.
Design Specialist Andy Bost visited the home in order to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate for the homeowners. After Andy's careful and thorough inspection, he recommended our WaterGuard® Drain System and Supportworks PowerBrace® System.
Solution
A DBS Foreman led the installation of the project with help from a team. Together, the team installed the drain system by removing concrete around the base of the home and installing the drain lines. These drains transport the water into a sump pump so it can be expelled from the home. The support braces were installed within the walls of the home and covered. These beams stop any further movement when settling occurs.
