Basement Repair in Hackensack, MN.
Challenge
DBS received a call that a basement needed to be fixed in Hackensack, MN. The customers were not completely sure of what services were required when they called, but DBS is always able to come up with a solution to home needs and inform our clients exactly what services are required, along with what results they’ll be seeing from our work. The clients said that they thought their basement needed attention because they foundation did not seem to be aligning the way it had in the past, they could tell by the way the doors and door frames were having trouble. When DBS sent our Design Specialist to the home, we discovered the home had unstable, bowing walls that needed foundation correction and support. The basement also needed multiple waterproofing and water management services from DBS to make sure the water was draining from the basement area and keeping the foundation/insulation work required dry.
Solution
When DBS sent one of our Design Specialists to the home to identify the work the specific service needs that were required based on the structure and current status of the home. We concluded that the PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System was required to support and straighten the basement walls, while correcting the whole homes foundation. We would also install SilverGlo™ high performance insulation in the basement as needed, while also installing our LawnScape drain system to make sure that water is leaving the area and diverted away from the home. The last service that DBS thought would be beneficial to install is a SuperSump™ Premier Pump System into the home to manage the water and make sure the home, foundation, and insulation are all staying dry for our clients. After all these services, the environment of the home will be corrected to a sturdy, dry environment. Although we only worked on the basement, the entire home will see results for our clients.
