Foundation Repair in Cass Lake, MN.
Challenge
One of our clients called DBS looking to fix the foundation of their existing basement walls in Cass Lake, MN. The foundation was unstable and the walls were not standing straight, the problem had gradually gotten worse over time and they needed DBS to help repair the basement walls to ultimately set the entire home's foundation back to its original, safe structure. The client had noticed this becoming an issue all throughout the home by the way that the walls were shifting and no longer aligning. By fixing the foundation in the basement, the end result will repair the foundation of the entire home by adding support to the bottom of the house.
Solution
DBS created a proposal after sending our design specialists to the house. Our solution is to add GeoLock® Wall Plate Earth Anchor System to the home. This is not always the method used for homes, we often use other support lock systems to bring the foundation back to its original stance, but in some style homes, the basement does not have the structure required for DBS to use our other foundation support systems, so we use our Earth Anchor Support System in place to ensure we are still serving the client. The photos of this production are included below, showing how we dig up around the perimeter of the home and insert the support through the dirt and into the walls of the home, aligning in the basement. With a short amount of time, this method works because the dirt and earth will pull the wall back to its straight, original placement, making the foundation supported strongly. The photos below show what the process of this looks like, also showing the inside view of what it looks like from the inside, coming in through the dirt. This ultimately making the homes foundation stronger for a safe, aligned environment for our DBS clients.
