Cabin in Alborn, MN with Sinking Crawl Space Foundation Stabilized with DBS SmartJack® System

The owners of this cabin in Alborn, MN had just replaced all of their doors and windows and wanted to find a solution to the sinking floors above their crawl space. Looking for a solution, they reached out to DBS.

Design Specialist James Miller went to the cabin to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the owners. After a thorough inspection, he generated a quote for our SmartJack® System to properly stabilize the flooring above the crawl space.

Foreman Tyler Nacey led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed 5 SmartJack® supports underneath the cabin with concrete footings to ensure that the cabin would be free of additional settling.

Now that the cabin has been permanently stabilized, the owners can enjoy their time away without worrying about the cabin sinking further into the soil.
