Large Foundational Cracks in Ashland, WI Basement Stabilized with GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System

This homeowner in Ashland, WI was experiencing instability in their cold, dark basement. Water was leaking into the basement due to large cracks in the basement foundation. Wanting a permanent fix, this homeowner turned to DBS for help. 

Design specialist James Miller assisted this homeowner is a free no-obligation estimate. James suggested that a GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System be installed in order to stabilize the walls and create a healthier home.

Foreman Osia Williams led a crew in the installation of this project. Together the team installed 7 GeoLock™ Wall Anchors. To do this the team connected steel rods to wall plates located inside the basement walls and to earth anchors located underground outside of the home. This rod connection is adjusted to stabilize the wall, prevent movement in the future, and help replace it to its original position.

This homeowner can now relax knowing her home is stable and supported.
