Bowing Wall is Stabilized and Straightened in Duluth, MN

This home in Duluth, MN was suffering from bowing foundation walls in the basement of the home. The owner wanted to stabilize these walls and correct the caving.

Design Specialist Jake Gilmer assisted the owner with a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, Jake recommended our GeoLock™ Wall Anchoring System.

Foreman Osia Williams led the installation of this project with help from Rowan Wentworth. Together, the duo excavated around the outside of the home. The earth anchors are installed outside of the home, below the ground, and the steel plates are installed inside the home on the bowing wall. These systems are connected using a steel rod and can be adjusted in order to restore the wall to its original position.

This homeowner can now relax knowing their home is safe and secure.
