The drainage matting helps water properly drain from the space. In turn, the vapor barrier prevents condensation in the wet dirt from evaporating into the air and traveling up into the living space.Our crew finished the encapsulation job by using spray foam to seal and insulate the crawl space rim joists. This will prevent cold air from entering the crawl space and cooling the living space above it.
